LarManuel History

LarManuel, Inc is a technology company that strives to harness the power of technology to solve some of society’s travail problems. The principal foundation of the company is to meet the unmet needs of society where it sees fit to do such. This is how it all started, on the sunny afternoon of August 9th, 2022, LarManuel Systems, Inc., was born on the campus of Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where Dr. Emmanuel Clarke once worked as a professor. LarManuel is a result of a merger of two companies. The two companies are Clarke Publishing Group, Inc., represented by Dr. Emmanuel Clarke and Ziki International Holding Group, Inc., represented by Dr. Seth O. Lartey. The name LarManuel is a combination of (Lartey - Lar and Emmanuel - Manuel).

Seth O. Lartey, Chairman

Bishop Seth O. Lartey was born in Monrovia, Liberia (West Africa). He earned several degrees of higher learning from the following institutions, Liberia Theological Seminary of Monrovia, Liberia (Bachelor of Theology), Livingstone College, Salisbury, North Carolina [Bachelor of Education], Duke University School of Divinity, Durham, North Carolina [Master in Religious Education], and Drew University, Madison, New Jersey [Doctor of Ministry].

Bishop Lartey is married to Jacqueline Inez Williams-Lartey and they are the very proud parents of three adult children, Solomon Benjamin Dorme, Alicia Elzera Amelia and Victoria Danielle
Kamaria Lartey.

Bishop Lartey pastored several churches in various conferences under the leadership of the late Bishops Ruben L. Speaks, Cecil Bishop and retired Bishop George W.C. Walker. His pastorates included St. Mathias A.M.E. Zion Church of the Liberia Annual Conference, Liberia, West Africa, Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, Invitation A.M.E. Zion Church and Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church of the Cape Fear Annual Conference (Eastern N.C. Episcopal District) and Goler Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church (Piedmont Episcopal District). He serves as Chairperson of Zion ’s Benefit Services and First Vice-President of Church Growth and Development in the A.M.E.
Zion Church.

Bishop Lartey has served in the following capacities in the A.M.E. Zion Church as Episcopal Director of Leadership Education in the 6th Episcopal District which is known now as the Eastern North Carolina Episcopal District and the Piedmont Episcopal District. He is the founder and former president of the Greene County Education and Enrichment Program, Snow Hill, North Carolina, The Educational Acceleration and Enrichment Program, Inc., Elizabethtown, North Carolina, The Goler Institute for Development and Education, Inc., and the Goler Community Development Corporation of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Bishop Lartey is a recipient of many honors and awards (i.e.Who’s Who, Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society, Presidential Scholar, NAACP Presidential Award, Winston-Salem Chronicle Man of the Year, Order of the Long Leaf Pine of North Carolina, Honorary Doctorate from Livingstone College, Salisbury, North Carolina, etc).

Bishop Lartey has served or is serving on boards both national and international: National Council of Churches, Churches United in Global Mission, United Way, Winston-Salem State University Foundation Board of Directors, Faith Partnerships, Trinity College and the A.M.E. Zion University of West Africa, Board of Trustees for Livingstone College, Salisbury, NC, former president of AFED Community Economic Development Corporation, Founder/CEO of  Next Generation Movement and 400 Years Celebration Inc., and many other boards.

Bishop Seth O. Lartey was elected the 100th Bishop in line of succession in July 2012 in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. His first assignment was the Western West African Episcopal District and he has historically become the first African native bishop to serve an
Episcopal area in the United States of America in the assignment of the Alabama-Florida Episcopal District. Upon arriving in Montgomery, Alabama, Bishop Lartey founded and organized the AFED Community Development Corporation. The following entities were birthed; Iron Sharpens Iron (one-million dollars grant was received for that entity), Special Family Health Program, Next Generation Movement and a Workforce Program. In August 2021 he was assigned as the Presiding Bishop of the Central Southern Africa Episcopal District which consist of Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Bishop Lartey is an accomplished author and have published the following; Closing The Back Door of the Church (A 42 Day Plan To Stop the Exodus of New Members), and Overcoming Evil With Good. He is also a contributor to several publish articles.

Emmanuel Clarke, COO & President of Cali's Diary

Emmanuel Clarke, commonly known as “Professor Clarke” lives in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He CEO & Chairman of Clarke Publishing Group. He is married and the father of four children. Professor Clarke holds an Associate in Computer Programming from Mercer County College, a BSc in Computer Engineering, and a double Master’s in Computer Science, and Management Information Systems. His Ph.D. work is in Human Centered Computing, with a research focus in “Genetic Algorithm and Artificial Neural Networking” also known as Biomimicry. In his short and busy life, he has been a trailblazer to so many people. Professor Clarke is an author of more than 10 books many of which are currently being used in Liberia schools. He has taught at Mercer County College in New Jersey, Burton County College in New Jersey, Western Connecticut State University in Danbury Connecticut, United Methodist University in Liberia, and now Forsyth Technical College in North Carolina.

As CEO of Clarke Publishing, he designs training course in Cybersecurity that prepares students for a career in the fields of Cybersecurity, Information Security. He also consults in the areas of Corporate Cyber-Readiness, Risks Management, Entrepreneurship, just to name a few.  Dr. Clarke has dedicated his life to serving his country of birth, Liberia. In 2012, he led a team of experts at the Ministry of Education, Republic of Liberia to develop the country’s first K-12 Technology Curriculum for teaching computer literacy in schools. 

Professor Clarke is a serial entrepreneur. His past and current ventures include:

In his ventures, he has coached and nurtured many entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses. He has also employed scores of people here in the US and in Africa.

Mrs. Jacqueline I. Williams-Lartey was born in Elm City (Wilson County), North Carolina to the late Mr. Walter L. Williams and Mrs. Algie Elzera Evans Williams. She is the sixth child of nine children. She is a graduate of Ralph L. Fike Senior High School in Wilson, North Carolina as well as a graduate of Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina with a degree in Accounting.

Jacqueline is married to the Right Reverend Dr. Seth O. Lartey and they are the proud parents of three beautiful children, Solomon Benjamin Dorme, Alicia Elzera Amelia and Victoria Danielle Kamaria Lartey and a grand-dog (Chihuahua) named Cali. She served with her husband as former Missionary Supervisor of the Western West Africa Episcopal District (Liberia, North Ghana, West Ghana, East Ghana, Mid-Ghana, Togo and Cote d’ Ivoire Annual Conferences and the Alabama-Florida Episcopal District (Alabama, Central, Cahaba, South Alabama, North Alabama, West Alabama, South Florida and Florida Conferences). Because of her commitment and love for children, two schools in West Africa
have been named in her honor (Liberia and Cote d’Ivoire respectively). The work of mission and the empowerment of women are very important and they take priority in all that she does. She also was appointed as the Missionary Supervisor to the Central Southern Africa Episcopal
District which consist of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Angola, Malawi, Mozambique and Namibia. Jacqueline was enstooled as “Queen Mother” in Ghana, West Africa in 2012. While in Africa she served on several boards and was a member of the Janie A. Speaks Hospital Board of Directors. Throughout her life she has been committed and involved in many organizations and boards [I.e. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Goler Institute for Development & Education Inc., [G.I.D.E.], Operation Will Power Inc., Kidz Cafe’, Bladen County Community Emergency Fund, etc.]. She has received many honors and awards for her diligence, commitment and dedication for the many causes she has championed. Laboring together with her husband, they were the founders of several organizations which seek to empower and give hope and directions to children. She conducted and instituted a successful
tutorial program and a Summer Enrichment Program in Elizabethtown, NC (Bladen County) for several years. She served as Director for the KITIZO Project (Catholic Social Outreach Program), Executive Director of the Educational Acceleration and Enrichment Program, Inc., Accounts Payroll & Receivables/Bookkeeper for the Greene County Enrichment Program and Financial Manager/Officer for the Bladen County Community Emergency Fund. Mrs. Jacqueline Williams-Lartey currently resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her
husband, Seth O. Lartey.
